Poplar is one of our cheapest options for our french doors. Don't let the price fool you. Poplar is a great choice because of it's ability to take paint! Poplar can also be stained but it is difficult to achieve an even look to the finish stain
due to color differences in the wood. Poplar's color can range from a lime green to brown, or even purple! It has a tight closed grain and is moderately hard.
The best feature about our poplar french doors is that they can come unfinished, pre-hung or just a slab. The choice is yours. We give you the opportunity to paint or stain the doors how you want!
