How to specify the swing of your doors
French doors can be outswing or inswing.
For those that don't have the interior space inside their home, your french doors can be outswing to save that valuable space. If you choose an inswinging door
make sure the door will not block access to another doorway, cabinet or part of the house such as a closet, stairs, or coat rack.
Doors that lead into kitchens often take more planning. Outswing french doors can easily remedy an already crowded situation in high traffic areas such as a kitchen or dining area.
